### Authentication

#### Reset 2FA

The **Reset 2FA** feature allows administrators to [reset a user's two-factor authentication (2FA) status](/v1/docs/users-users#reset-2fa) from the **Edit user** page. This option is available when [2FA is currently enabled](/v1/docs/multi-factor-authentication#reset-2fa) for the user and the user has [requested a reset](/v1/docs/two-factor-authentication#2fa-reset-for-lost-devices) during the authentication process.
