# Configuration for Security Access Groups

Enable Speech Analytics for contact centers that use Security Access Groups for permission management.

Speech Analytics is available for contact centers on the Pro plan or higher.

## Before you start

This article applies to contact centers that use **Security Access Groups**.

If you are not using Security Access Groups, follow: [Configuration for Basic users](/v1/docs/configure-speech-analytics-basic-users)

## Enable Speech Analytics for the contact center

1. In the {{variable.BrandName}} navigation menu, go to **Administration > System Settings**.
2. Open the **Features** tab.
3. Scroll to the **Speech Analytics** section.
4. Configure the following:
   * **Language selection**
     Choose **AI-powered auto language detection** or select specific languages.
   * **Transcription threshold**
     Set the minimum call length in **Transcribe calls with talk time over**.

## Configure supporting features

### Keyword groups

1. Go to **Administration > Keyword groups**.
2. Create and manage keyword groups.

## Enable Speech Analytics for users

Access to Speech Analytics is controlled through permissions. See: [Security Access Groups](/v1/docs/administration-security-access-groups)

Speech Analytics requires configuration for **two types of users**:

* **Agents**
  Generate calls that are transcribed and analyzed
* **Supervisors, Analysts, and Admins**
  View transcripts, analytics, and reports

### Agents

1. Go to **Administration > Security access groups**.
2. Click **Add access group** (or edit an existing group).
3. Enable the **Enable Transcriptions with Analytics** permission.
4. Enable other permissions relevant to the agent's activities.
5. Click **Save**.

6. Go to **Users > Users**.
7. In the **Security access group** field, assign the access group to the agent if it is not already assigned.
8. Select the user's account, then on the user's account page, optionally use the **Speech language** option — select **Auto** for automatic language detection or select a specific language for transcription.
9. Click **Save**.

### Supervisors, Analsyts, and Admins

1. Go to **Administration > Security access groups**.
2. Click **Add access group** (or edit an existing group).
3. Enable the permissions below.
4. Click **Save**.

In the access group settings:

**CDR permissions**

Enable one of:

* View all CDRs (for Admins and Analysts)
* View team CDRs (for Supervisors)

Enable:

* View Call transcriptions

**Speech Analytics permission**

Enable:

* Enable Transcriptions with Analytics


### Assign the access group to users

Assign the configured access group (role) to users. Users in this group can now access transcripts and Speech Analytics data.
