The Voiso Media feature enables you to maintain a library of music, voice messages, and ringtones for your contact center.
Introduction
Voiso enables you to create a maintain a library of audio files for hold music, voice messages, and ringtones for different channels through the Media page. To access the Media page, from the Voiso navigation bar, navigate to Administration > Media.
The Media page contains a table that lists all the audio files you have added to your Voiso media library.
Audio files are classified into the following types:
Type | Description |
---|---|
MOH | Music on hold. The music played to callers whenever a call is placed on hold by an agent or the Voiso system. You can assign different MOH files for different Queues and flows. |
Voice Message | Messages, announcements, in-queue announcements, and menu descriptions. You can assign different Voice Message files for different Queues, flows, Dialer campaigns, and Call suppression messages. |
Ringtone | The ringtone for WebRTC Ringtone voice calls in the Agent Panel and interaction notifications in the Omnichannel Workspace. |
Using the Media page
The media table in the Media page is sortable by name or type. Click the row header to change the sorting order.
To delete an audio file, hover your mouse pointer over it, then on the far right of the table row, click the Delete icon.
To download an audio file, hover your mouse pointer over it, then on the far right of the table row, click the Download audio icon.
Adding media
To add a new audio file, follow these steps:
- Click Add media.
- In the Add media panel, specify a name for the media file to be displayed on the Media table and in other menus where you select media files.
- Specify the media type from the Type menu.
- In the Media area, either drag an audio file from your desktop or click browse to browse your computer for an audio file.
- Click Save.
Editing media
To change the audio file or name for a media follow these steps:
- Click its name in the Media table to display the Edit media panel.
- (Optional) Edit the media name.
- Click X to choose a different media file (refer to screenshot).
- Click Save to commit the changes.
Media type cannot be changed.
